On Photography
I positively can’t help but take pictures, it’s what I do. I believe that most every moment is worth being captured, recreated and retold.
I love the moment when the subject connects directly with the camera, as if to say, “I see you seeing me.” And they are right - when I focus my lens on someone, it is because I see something beautiful and interesting, something worth telling about them, something worth retelling about their interaction with the environment they occupy. There is great honor in telling someone’s story.

portraits - I love to photograph people in their natural settings, where they are comfortable, doing what they love

lifestyle - I want to capture humans in their ever day lives, to take those seemingly mundane moments and reflect them back as something worth remembering

events - I like to be where the action is - protests, festivals, expeditions, retreats, etc. - and am always thankful to be able to capture these moments and adventures
