I've never been good at doing just one thing. I crave a lot of change, and when it comes to expressing myself, I like to flow between mediums and art forms.

Hi! What about me? Let's see...
I hold a BA in French Literature from Acadia University and completed my BEd at Memorial University, Newfoundland. I am a high school English teacher, but am currently taking a year off to pursue other projects; I hope to return to the classroom next year.
I have two children, Milo and Opal, who keep me busy, but I like to stay busy, so that's not a problem.
I've lived a significant portion of my life in rural settings: from the mountains of Tarija, Bolivia, to the woods of New Brunswick, Canada, and now to the remote wilderness of northern Quebec. As an acquaintance and fellow artist once said: "I want to go outside, I want to make some art about it." I do agree.
I tend to take life too seriously, but I'm trying to relax and be in the moment. Thus, I do so admire people who are funny, because all I really want to do is be taken out of my own head and have a laugh.
I love to read the books - all of them, but I suppose my preferred genres would be narrative journalism, epic/journey accounts, certain types of fantasy, and a smattering of classic literature.
I think I prefer winter camping to summer camping and dream of one day doing a month long winter camping trek.
I am most certainly an introverted extrovert, and I love meeting new people, especially when travelling.
I like to try new things. This is both a good thing and a bad thing.
